I can definitely see what you're trying to accomplish in this photo and kudos to you for doing it. Architecture can sometimes be the hardest thing to photograph because it doesn't really move and is hard to find a good focal point.

I think you've definitely covered some emotions in this piece. I would have liked to see more of the grounds (would it have been possible for you to stitch together multiple photos to get a panoramic view?), as it would have given the shot more depth and more to look at.

I'm not a huge fan of your effects on the skyline. Next time you really need to pay more attention to where the sun was shining and have light coming from the sky in that direction to follow the shadows that were cast. Also, having the right side of the building very light when the rest of the photo seems to have been darkened doesn't follow consistency in the image.

The clouds seem a little too brushed - you shouldn't be brushing OVER clouds, you should just be adjusting their colors to get the effect you want. It's all in the details with these sorts of photos - I really think you have a great start here and it can be even more effective if you pay attention to those small details in your post-processing. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />
