 -- All mankind deserves respect untill proven otherwise!  I just wondered how you are finding this lens? Its reviews weren't exceptional, but I think a lot depends on what you use it for. I've just acquired one, as you may know, and have yet to put it to a proper test, but I do know that for me it makes my gear incredibly heavy and I suspect it's going to be quite difficult to get the best out of it. That filtermatic sounds incredible with all those built-in filters! (Didn't know they existed!)

  --   I have no complaints with it, it's easy to handle and fast to focus and I'm happy with the sharpness throughout the focal range.
The filtermatic was realy designed with black and white film in mind as that's where those particular filters are most useful. It's a very robust little lens. -- All mankind deserves respect untill proven otherwise! Well, it's been either raining or darned windy down here ever since I got that lens, so I still haven't been out with it, but hope to soon...
